Football's Impact on Children:

A kid living the dream of football.

Impact:

Football plays a major role in children's lives whether it is playing with their friends, or cheering on their favorite team on TV or in the stadium. They would have a football player that they admire and love and try to mimic his abilities in their backyard. And to the children, their favorite player is a role model to them and they dream of being like him. So why deny them the chance of going after that dream? Why create obstacles for a dream that is beneficial to them not just physically but psychologically? Every footballer you see today has a footballer as a role model and that shaped them not just as players, but also as individuals. And these players became legends for their football clubs and their national teams and they will always be remembered by people. In Kuwait, we need legends and there is no reason to deny the children that simple dream when the resources they need are available  as you can see when I visit the Arsenal Soccer School and talk about those resources: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EzI4fpb3wo

To summarize, football will impact children in four ways:

  • It will give them a healthy hobby/career to go after.
  • It will give them a role model to look up to and follow.
  • It will give them the opportunity to meet new people and make friends when playing football because football is a team game.
  • It will give them happiness because if the kid likes playing football and has a passion for it, it will give him the drive to succeed in what he loves doing.

Taking Action:

We all have a duty to the future of Kuwait and its generations. And if you had a right denied to you, you do not want your children to be denied of that right. At this moment children are denied of having a professional football career in Kuwait. And with that we are denied of a football league worth watching in Kuwait and a national team worth representing. Do you agree or disagree? Football is the cure!

We love football!

How:

Football is more than just a sport; it is a life. A life that you can enjoy with both family and friends because not only is it a team sport in game, but a team sport in life. Time and time again it has brought togetherness between people. And it is the only sport that brings countries from all around the world to the country that hosts the grandest spectacle in world which is the World Cup. Football can bring togetherness even in the hardest times. For example in 1967, there was a 48 hour ceasefire during the Nigerian civil war to watch Pele who was the best player in the world back then play an exhibition match with his team. This is proof of how big of an impact football has on people and how much it means to people. It is also proof that football is the best sport in the world. For more information on this topic email me and let me know what you think about football.

What does football mean to us in Kuwait?

Meaning:

In Kuwait, football is the major sport that people love. Whether they are addicts to the game, or they just enjoy the spectacle and atmosphere of a big match in a cafe or stadium. Either way, they understand how big football is and how important it is to many people around the world. We Kuwaitis dream of dominating Asian football again and one day winning the World Cup. In order to make that dream happen, we need to have a football league that is at least worth watching. And what we see on TV now is a joke. Kuwait has the potential of making their football league world-renowned by and by professionalizing it and by the government back it. That will result in a better national team than can make our country proud and dominate Asian football for the long run and in time win the World Cup and make history. It is up to us to demand that potential to be used and make history. So join the fight for a legacy here at our Facebook page and let your voice be heard! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Kuwait-Footballing/320573494748609
